Alexander has been playing the violin since he was 4 years old. He has soloed on stage with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, played a duet to an audience of 47,000, and solos regularly at the VSO Brass Quintet concerts. He has toured Spain with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and has been concertmaster with the Vancouver Youth Orchestra and Vancouver Academy of Music Orchestras. He studied with David Gillham at the UBC School of Music.
